Concrete Shot Blasting in Saudi Arabia
Dust-free mechanical surface preparation with our own German machines — the step that decides how long an industrial floor lasts.
Why shot blasting, and not grinding or acid etching
- It is a fully dry process. No water, no drying time, no slurry to dispose of, so the next coat can follow the same day.
- The machine recycles the steel shot and captures the dust at the head, so the work can run inside an operating factory or a food plant.
- It opens a true mechanical profile across the whole slab instead of polishing it, and a mechanical profile is what a coating bonds to.
- Acid etching is not an equivalent, and most specifications call for mechanical abrasion of the concrete.
We set the profile by changing the shot, not the machine
A coating system does not ask for blasting. It asks for a Concrete Surface Profile. Steel shot S390, around one millimetre, opens a coarse CSP 4 to 5 profile that suits thick systems and screeds. Where a thin high-build coating needs CSP 2 to 3 we load finer shot, S230 or S170. Same machine, different media. Tell us the system you intend to apply and we will set the profile it requires.
Our machines
- Wirths WS 400 — the wide pass machine for open slabs and large bays.
- Wirths WS 280 — for tighter areas, aisles and edges.
- Both imported from Germany and owned by the company, with integrated dust extraction.
- Edges, columns and corners are finished with hand grinders, so no strip is left untreated.
What the site needs to provide
- A 380V three phase supply at the work area.
- A cleared slab, free of stored goods and fixed obstructions.
- Access for the crew during the agreed shift, including night shifts where production cannot stop.
We do not stop at the profile
The same crew applies the coating: industrial epoxy, self levelling systems, polyurethane for kitchens and cold areas, anti slip finishes and line marking. We are an approved applicator for Sika and Saveto systems, so the preparation and the coating carry one responsibility instead of two.
Where we work
Madinah, Jeddah and the Makkah region as standard. Riyadh and Dammam on request.
Approvals
ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified. Saudi Aramco approved vendor 10116736. MODON pre-qualified applicator. Registered with Balady for construction and for maintenance and operation.
Tell us about the floor
Send the area, the current condition of the slab and the coating you intend to apply, and we will come back with a profile and a programme.
