Asphalt Paving and Road Works in Saudi Arabia
The plant is ours, not hired. That is the whole difference when a road has to reopen on a fixed date.
Scope
- Base course and wearing course, laid and compacted to the approved specification.
- Cold milling of existing asphalt, five to seven centimetres, including cleaning and removal of the millings.
- Bituminous tack coat between layers.
- Full depth reclamation, where the existing pavement is recycled in place instead of being carted away.
- Kerbs, speed humps, wheel stoppers and the marking that follows. See line marking.
The fleet, by name
- Wirtgen W 200 F cold milling machine, 455 kW.
- Vögele SUPER 1800-5 paver.
- Hamm HD+ 90 VV vibratory roller and Hamm HP 280 pneumatic tyre roller.
- Skid steers, a small milling machine and a mechanical sweeper.
- Ten further Wirtgen milling machines and a second paver stand at our German base, shippable within three to four weeks when a programme demands them.
Why ownership matters on a road
Daily capacity is around ten thousand square metres milled and the same paved. More to the point, the programme does not wait for somebody else’s machine to come free, and a breakdown is our problem to solve rather than a reason to extend the contract.
Night work
Most arterial work we execute runs at night, because the road has to carry traffic in the morning. Lighting, traffic management and shift planning are priced into the programme rather than discovered during it.
Where we work
Madinah, Jeddah and the Makkah region as standard, within municipal projects and as subcontractor to main contractors. Riyadh and Dammam on request.
Send us the scope
