Line Marking for Car Parks, Warehouses and Roads

Marking is the last trade on site and the first thing anyone notices. We apply it as part of the floor or the road we laid, so it bonds to what is underneath it.

Car parks

  • Bay lines, aisle lines and directional arrows.
  • Accessible bays with the international symbol and hatching.
  • Electric vehicle bays in the colour the client specifies.
  • Pedestrian crossings and walkways.
  • Bay numbering, valet and zone signage applied to the floor.
  • Wheel stoppers, speed humps and kerb painting where they form part of the package.

Warehouses and production floors

  • Aisle and rack lines that survive forklift turning.
  • Pedestrian walkways separated by colour.
  • Safety zones at panels, hydrants and emergency exits.
  • Hatching at loading bays and no-stand areas.

Material follows the surface, not the habit

On a coated floor or a coated deck the marking material has to be one the coating manufacturer accepts, otherwise it lifts the membrane it sits on. On asphalt, cold applied marking with glass beads to AASHTO M247 Type 1 gives the retro-reflection a road needs. We state which material we are using and why, rather than applying the same paint everywhere.

How we take it on

Marking is executed as part of our flooring and road packages, on surfaces we have prepared or laid ourselves. That is deliberate: marking applied by a separate trade onto someone else’s coating is where responsibility gets lost when it peels. See car park traffic coating, epoxy flooring and asphalt paving.

Send us the layout

A marked up plan, the bay count or the linear metres, and the surface it will be applied to.
